Submit Proof of Insurance

If you carry your own renters insurance, upload your Certificate of Insurance (COI) or policy declaration page so we can verify your coverage. You may unenroll from PURE HomeRiver’s Master Renters Insurance Policy at any time by providing a valid COI that meets the requirements below.

Coverage RequirementsWhat your third-party policy must include to qualify.

To qualify, your third-party policy must meet PURE HomeRiver’s minimum coverage requirements while also naming PURE HomeRiver as an interested party. Minimum coverage:

  • Personal / premises liability — at least $100,000 per lease term
  • Personal property (contents) — at least $20,000 on a replacement-cost basis
  • Additional Living Expense — at least $150/day, or $5,000 in total
  • Pet liability — $10,000 sublimit for bodily injury or property damage your pet causes to a third party (dogs, excluding service animals, must carry canine liability protection)
  • PURE HomeRiver named as an interested party on the policy

A valid certificate of insurance must be provided within 72 hours of move-in. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in the policy being declined and will not unenroll you from PURE HomeRiver’s Master Renters Insurance Policy.
