Your lease requires renters liability coverage. You have two options.

Do nothing. The cost is included in your monthly resident benefits solution.
Or bring your own policy
Upload your certificate below and we’ll review it against PURE HomeRiver requirements.
If it is compliant, your resident benefits solution is reduced by $10.00/month.
PHR Insurance Requirements
- Personal property and additional living expense — at least $20,000 combined for the lease term, on an actual cash value basis. Additional living expense pays for a hotel or short-term rental if your home becomes unlivable after a covered loss, up to $150 per day.
- Premises legal liability — at least $100,000 for the lease term, for damage to the property you are legally responsible for.
- Bodily injury to others — at least $100,000 per incident and for the lease term, including legal defense costs within that limit. Injury caused by an animal is covered up to $10,000.
- In force and not expired for the whole of your lease
- An AM Best Rating of A- or better — the major national insurers all qualify.
- This exact interested party listed on the policy, at this address: Choose your office below and this address will appear. If your carrier prefers email, notices can go to coiverification@kastl.insure instead of by mail. The address is still required on the policy.
